Abstract
Rizki Travel Bureau is a travel agency that is engaged in transportation services, which serve various travel destinations such as Sumatra, Java and Bali. It really needed an information system that can help the agency's performance. In the past, ticket reservations were made by coming directly to the Rizki Travel Bureau. Besides, the staffs managed passenger data manually in a written form so that it took a long time. If it had hundreds of passengers and even thousands of bookings in one month, the agency got difficulties and it caused errors. It often caused a loss of time and materials. In the field of transportation, it really needed a function or benefit from a computerized information system so that it simplified and speeded up service and simplifies data processing. The purpose of this study was to produce a bus ticket booking information system to help facilitate ticket booking, data processing, schedule management, seat selection, data storage and data search to increase customer satisfaction with the services provided by Rizki Travel Bureau. The results of this study were to make a design of information systems for bus ticket booking. Keywords: Ticket Ordering Information System, Travel Bureau, Transportation
