Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high rainfall, the rainy season can take place within four months in a year. With high rainfall in several regions in Indonesia, water levels have risen in several rivers that have caused flood in that region. It is needed a system that can be used to solve the problem of flood disaster in order to avoid casualties and material losses due to the flood disaster. Using an ultrasonic sensor to read the rise of water and the Arduino module, it is used as an ultrasonic sensor controller to read the rise of water. Using the waterfall method, a water level monitoring information system is created as an early warning to detect flood. This system is made, so it can be easily accessed by officers anywhere through the website application and it is hoped that this system can also convey water level information quickly. Using this system, it is expected to provide information about the height of the water level, and officers can evacuate people to minimize casualties and material losses.
