Abstract

Current technological developments require many parties to improve the existing system in their agency, no different from the marketing system at Amalia's bookstore, Yogyakarta. The old marketing system which is still manual with all its management makes it detrimental to the store with inaccurate book stock or lack of marketing so that it is better known by the wider community because now the marketing system is global, from that problem the implementation of web-based book sales will be built and is expected to be able to assist in the global based marketing process. Some of the software that will be used such as visual code studio as a support, MySQL as a database server, Javascript as a programming language. What happened to Amalia's bookstore until now is still using conventional methods in managing sales, ordering, and payments. To check the stock of books, it is still done manually by recording the ledger which affects the difficulty of finding data quickly and accurately. This study aims to build a web-based book sales application at the Amalia bookstore which will be assisted by a more controlled data input system regarding product stock. they have and also make it easy for customers to make transactions.
