Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the procedure for pawning gold at PT Pegadaian Branch Batang with the formulation of the problem how the procedure for pawning gold for Credit, Fast, Secure (KCA) products was carried out and how the loan default process was at the due date. From this research, it can be concluded that the pawn procedure carried out by PT Pegadaian Batang Branch is that customers come directly to the Pawnshop Office with collateral in the form of gold. Then the customer fills out a credit request form that has been provided by the officer, then the officer will make an estimate to determine the loan money and be signed after there is an agreement with the original pledge and the customer can take the money home for the pawned item If the customer cannot repay the loan or redeem the collateral, the next procedure is that the collateral will be auctioned off. In practice, PT Pegadaian Batang Branch carries out procedures in accordance with Financial Services Authority Regulation Number 31/PJOK.05/2016 concerning Pawnshops. The results of this study indicate that the gold pawn procedure carried out by PT Pegadaian Branch Batang is very easy and efficient.
